Claremont’s Colts and Reserves each face East Perth in grand finals at Patersons Stadium on Sunday, with the Colts looking to go back-to-back and the Reserves searching for their first premiership since 2012.

The Colts secured their place in Sunday’s decider with a 64-thumping of Perth in the second semifinal and are coming off a week’s rest, while the Reserves hammered East Fremantle by 55 points in the preliminary final.

Colts coach Ross McQueen was awarded the JJ Leonard medal at Monday night’s Sandover Medal.

Congratulations Ross, and well done to the rest of the coaching staff.

The Colts have had another remarkable season, which saw them finish with the No.1 ranked attack, defence and the highest percentage at the end of the home-and-away season, as the team booked its place in its fourth consecutive grand final.

Remarkably, they have conceded 10 goals in a game on just one occasion.

Reserves coach Kepler Bradley has done a remarkable job in his first season in the role, which culminated in the team finishing in second position with 15 wins and also included an 11-game winning streak.

Morgan Davies (wrist) will look to return after missing the win over East Fremantle, while Ian Rowe (hamstring) has been sidelined for two weeks.

With both grades looking to cap off terrific seasons, the club encourages all Claremont members and fans to get along and support the mighty Tigers, and wishes both teams the best of luck.

Kids aged 15 years and under will receive free entry.

Bounce down for Colts is 8.40am, followed by Reserves at 11.20am.
