Round 5 Preview Claremont vs. South Fremantle

Thursday, April 26, 2018 - 8:55 AM

Claremont host South Fremantle at Centennial Stadium in Albany on Saturday, with the Tigers aiming to bounce back from their defeat against Subiaco and record their second win of the season.

The Tigers will wear a limited edition ANZAC guernsey during the first regional game of the season, with the multimillion-dollar stadium given the tick of approval to host its first WAFL match.

“In terms of facility, it would be among the top couple in the WAFL at the moment,” football operations manager Darcy Coffey told the Albany Advertiser.

“We always like coming down and because it has been such a wonderful zone for us, the Great Southern, with nearly a third of our list being from regional areas, it’s great for them to get back and it’s great for us to get back and play in our regional zone.”
