WAFL Tribunal Outcome – Josh Deluca / Keifer Yu
The Claremont Football Club wishes to place on record that both it and Claremont player Keifer Yu followed the WAFL rules and regulations in relation to an alleged breach of the competition’s Racial and Religious Inappropriate Conduct Policy during the Round 4 league match between Subiaco and Claremont on Thursday 19 April.
The players involved attended a conciliation meeting on Monday 23 April and as a result the matter was referred to the WAFL Tribunal on Tuesday 24 April where Subiaco player Josh Deluca was found guilty of breaching the competition’s Racial and Religious Inappropriate Conduct Policy.
The Claremont Football Club does not condone any form of inappropriate racial or religious conduct and stands by its players in this regard.
