Round 13 Preview East Fremantle vs. Claremont
By Dan Scamozzi.
Claremont face East Fremantle at Country Builders Stadium in Geraldton on Saturday as part of the WA Football Commission’s Festival of Football initiative taking place in the region.
The festival features football clinics, player visits from East Fremantle FC, educational sessions and forums hosted by the WA Football Commission in close partnership with key local stakeholders, the WA Country Football League and the two clubs.
The festival is supported by the Country Sport Enrichment Scheme which is run through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
The Tigers recorded their biggest win of the season against East Perth in round 12, and will be aiming to record consecutive wins for the first time this season.
The Tigers have defeated the Sharks, who are coming off a bye, in their past four clashes, including a thrilling win back in round three.
A win for the Tigers could move them into the top five.
